I am sure you are well aware of the unprecedented attacks which have been launched against the next generation of social networks.
Apparently, when Big Tech told us ‘if you don’t like it, start your own’, they weren’t talking about social media websites, they were talking about the entire internet at large.
We know that you are frustrated with the downtime and lag that Spreely has been experiencing, and so are we. This is why we have been working around the clock (literally, Terry has not slept this week) to upgrade Spreely so that we can withstand the types of attacks that our friends have fallen from.
Our goal is to be operational by tomorrow. We hired the top experts in their respective fields to review our code and make the necessary changes so that we can keep the site up, stable, fast and scalable. We have also made changes to remove our dependence on partners who have proven less interested in preserving your right to freedom of expression.
We can’t tell you how much your patience and encouragement means to us. A lot of you who are reading this were with us from the beginning. We are humbled by your loyalty, understanding and commitment to helping make Spreley work and become a viable alternative to Big Tech’s Speech Cartel.
As you know other social sites who are focused on preserving the speech of Americans have been facing crippling attacks from companies with trillions in market cap. Please do not give up on them either. When the dust settles, there will be more than one site on the web where Americans’ God given right to Speak fREELY is defended.
We are proud to stand shoulder to shoulder with Parler, Gab, Telegram and every other site working to make sure the internet is once again the home of free people.
