“My little children, with whom I am again in TRAVAIL UNTIL CHRIST BE FORMED IN YOU.”
Galatians 4:19 (RSV)
• Your primary assignment as a Minister is to divide, SKILLFULLY TEACH the Word of truth—the Bible (2 Timothy 2:15).
- You are to feed the flock of God under your Care: "I URGE YOU THEN TO SEE THAT YOUR “flock of God” IS PROPERLY FED AND CARED FOR. Accept the responsibility of looking after them willingly AND NOT BECAUSE YOU FEEL YOU CAN'T GET [something] OUT OF IT, DOING YOUR WORK NOT FOR WHAT YOU CAN MAKE, BUT BECAUSE YOU ARE REALLY CONCERNED FOR THEIR WELL-BEING" (1 Peter 5:2 Philips).
- You are to equip them for the work of ministry and edify them–build THEM up:
11 “And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, 12 FOR THE EQUIPPING OF THE SAINTS FOR THE WORK OF MINISTRY, FOR THE EDIFYING OF THE BODY OF CHRIST" (Ephesians 4:11,12 NKJV).
- You are to take oversight—serve as an overseer (Acts 20: 27,28; Hebrews 13:7,17).
- You oversee the people in prayer not by needless visitations, although visiting their houses when needed may be necessary.
- Some Ministers are fond of going to people’s houses, offices, shops and so on IN the name of visitation.
SOME Ministers who do such a THING are BEING sincerely wrong, they do not know better, they thought they would have to visit the people all the time; BUT some are doing it because of the money that would be given to them.
THE real oversight of people is done in the place of prayer.
- If you commit your people to God in prayer, you put prayer covering over them and pray that Christ be formed in them, you may not need to be going about visiting them all the time.
- Your major assignment is to watch over them in prayer, and stay before God to study His Word and fellowship with Him to receive what to feed them with.
BEING hardworking in the Ministry is not about running around per se, but about being diligent in prayer, the studying of the Word, and ministering what you have studied and received from God to the people!
2. “Then the twelve summoned the multitude of the disciples and said, “IT IS NOT DESIRABLE THAT WE SHOULD LEAVE THE WORD OF GOD AND SERVE TABLES.
4. “BUT WE WILL GIVE OURSELVES CONTINUALLY TO PRAYER AND TO THE MINISTRY OF THE WORD.”
Acts 6:2,4 (NKJV)
• If you feed your people with the undiluted Word of God and stay in the presence of God to pray for them, that Christ may be formed in them; THEY would not be a prey in the hands of the false teachers.
NOTE: What time does a Minister has IN running errands for his or her church members?

• Christians are Being persecuted by the religious Cults, Islam, and other religions in the world.
- A Pastor was sharing with me how one of his members left FOR Jehovah witnesses people.

• Christians are Being persecuted by the religious Cults, Islam, and other religions in the world.
- A Pastor was sharing with me how one of his members left FOR Jehovah witnesses people.
- According to the Pastor, he said the brother made an offer of marriage to a Lady who happened to be a Jehovah witness, in the process of time the brother was not regular in attendance AGAIN and they started visiting and admonishing Him.
THE brother eventually left the church—Stopped attending the church meetings completely.
NOTE: In my own view I could deduced that the Pastor, who shared the story with me is not mature enough.
- To my understanding he does not know the difference between genuine Christian groups AND the false ones.
• Admonition
- If you as a minister of God is not knowledgeable enough in the things of the Kingdom, you would do well to update your knowledge.
- A novice should not be a leader in the church of Christ: “A BISHOP [pastor or overseer] THEN MUST BE BLAMELESS… NOT A NOVICE…” (1 Timothy 3:2,6).
- Study to equip yourself that you may be able to lead the people under you aright: "STUDY AND DO YOUR BEST TO PRESENT YOURSELF TO GOD APPROVED, a workman [tested by trial] who has no reason to be ashamed, ACCURATELY HANDLING AND SKILLFULLY TEACHING THE WORD OF TRUTH."
2 Timothy 2:15 (AMP)
READ: 1 Timothy 4:13-16
- You can only give what you have, if you have nothing in you, you are lacking in knowledge of the Word of God, you will not have what to teach the people under your leadership.
"Then Peter said, “Silver and gold I do not have, BUT WHAT I DO HAVE I GIVE YOU: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.”
Acts 3:6 (NKJV)
• You will not fail in Jesus' name.

- If he was not sent by God to organize the crusades to begin with, and neither has a pastor over his life, nor submitted to anyone as a spiritual father or mentor. Venturing into such a THING could be calamitous.
- He endangered his life by doing what he was not sure whether God did actually send him to do. That is an example of Zeal without KNOWLEDGE!
- He possibly might not receive any approval from God, and most probably did not have a spiritual covering, a father or mentor, over his life.
- And if at all he did have a spiritual father, he probably did not Carry the person along in what he did.
- One of the purposes of having a pastor, spiritual father, or mentor is to provide a spiritual covering over your life and Ministry:
"OBEY YOUR [spiritual] LEADERS AND SUBMIT TO THEM [recognizing their authority over you], FOR THEY ARE KEEPING WATCH OVER YOUR SOULS AND CONTINUALLY GUARDING YOUR SPIRITUAL WELFARE as those who will give an account [of their stewardship of you]. Let them do this with joy and not with grief and groans, for this would be of no benefit to you" (Hebrews 13:17 AMPS).
• You should have someone or people in your life, Who can stand to challenge the devil and command him to take his hands away in your life and Ministry, when he comes threatening.
• You will not fail in Jesus' name.
