• You need prayers to succeed in whatever you do.
IF you are weak or lazy in prayer, your blessings might be delayed or hindered (Daniel 10:10-14).
- The devil who is the god of this world (2 Corinthians 4:4), who's assignment is to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10); goes about roaring like a lion seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8)
HE has perfect hatred for Whatever belongs to God and His kingdom.
- Your progress and success are threats to the devil and his work.
IF you have passion for the work of the Kingdom, you want to give to support the the work, the devil may want to attack what you do that he may hinder you from being a blessing to the work of God and His people.
- The Demons who work for the devil attack Believers that they may hinder their progress and success, and he, the devil, also uses humans who yielded themselves as instruments to be used against the children of God—the believers.
• Why is the devil opposing the material success of the Believers:
- The devil knows the Success of a Believer would be a blessing to others.
- He also knows when you succeed financially as a Believer, you may yield to the promptings of the Holy Spirit to give to the poor, the needy, the ministers, and to support the work in your local church.
- You also May use the blessing to set up foundations for orphans, widows, and also build hospitals, schools, and support rural ministries.
- With the points mentioned above and some others, the devil may be mad At the financial success of the Believers.
THE devil would want mankind to be afflicted and destroyed because he hates God.
- The devil knows he cannot touch God, but can indirectly touch Him By touching those who are loyal to Him.
9 "SO THE GREAT DRAGON WAS CAST OUT, THAT SERPENT OF OLD, CALLED THE DEVIL AND SATAN, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

- You have power in God as a believer to overcome the devil through the authority given to us in Christ Jesus: "BEHOLD, I GIVE YOU THE AUTHORITY TO TRAMPLE ON SERPENTS AND SCORPIONS, AND OVER ALL THE POWER OF THE ENEMY [the devil], and nothing shall by any means hurt you" (Luke 10:19).
